Edition Farm's TAKMEOUTODABALGAME collared Diamond District with a furlong to go
and then bested that one to take today's $22,200 featured eighth race by a head.
Trained by Jon Buckley, Takmeoutodabalgame just missed by a half a length in his last
to Yukon Gold Rush with similar and around two turns.
Today's contest at one mile and seventy yards was for three year olds and upward
which had never won a state-bred race other than,
with Takmeoutodabalgame the 6 to 5 choice.
Mark Valentine's Diamond District who was coming off a front-running score
over never won three carrying $12,500 claiming tags was the second choice a t$3.00 to 1.
On Paper it appeared that Diamond District was the lone speed and if caught it would be by Takmeoutodabalgame.
Diamond District with Dean Frates up, broke his mount in good order and got the opening quarter in 24.19.
The Dean Frates ridden horse got the half mile in 48.95 and then stopped the timer
with a two and one-half length cushion over Takmeoutodabalgame in 1:14.35.
Takmeoutodabalgame collared Diamond District with a furlong to go and the two battled to the line
with a gap of 11 and one-half lengths back Triumphal in third.
Takmeoutodabalgame bested Diamond District in a long stretch battled
and earned $13,320 for the effort. Diamond District covered the distance over a fast track in 1:47.01.

Bred by Edition Farm, the five year old gelded son of Take Me Out out of Vivaling by Explodent
now has 4 career wins out of 29 starts and $107,132.00 in money won.
Also the home-bred runner qualified for $1,332.00 in breeders' awards.
