Live Band,
a New York Bred 2 year old daughter of
Dixie Brass out of Edition Farm's Explodent mare, Vivaling,
breaks maiden in 2nd start at Saratoga on August 23rd.
Setting fast fractions,
the filly blew away the field by six widening lengths!
The dam is now the dam of two foals,
two to race,
two winners.

UPDATE: Instant Punch, by Two Punch, wins at Saratoga.
He is out of Instant Shopper, already the dam of 4 stakes winners.
Pro Shopper, his half bother by Distinctive Pro,
is running Monday, August 21, 2001.
He is well thought of in this race which will be his debut.

UPDATE: Rubiano filly Hip # 430
in Fasig Tipton Preferred Yearling Sale
sell for $ 95,000.00.
The filly named La Rubiana, was sold to a client of James Bond,
the successful trainer of many horses including,
$4,000,000.00 earner, Behrens.
A colt owned by our client Frank Mancini, Hip # 368
was sold for $55,000.00.
Named Brassy Shopper, he was purchased by Christopher Clement,
a very successful trainer on the New York and Florida circuit.
Both of these yearlings who were foaled here,
were prepped for the sale at our farm.
We are proud that our consignment averaged $ 75,000.00.
This is well above the average in the sale of $ 44,359.00
